The Hublot Big Bang One Click Sang Bleu King Gold Pink Diamonds 39mm was designed in partnership with Sang Bleu tattoo artist and Hublot ambassador, Maxime Plescia-Büchi. This surprising and audacious collaboration takes the form of a glass and metal sculpture. Singular shapes spatially transpose the inspirations born from the encounter between Maxime Plescia-Büchi and Hublot.
This particular watch is limited to 100 pieces world wide and comprises a polished 18K King Gold case with an engraved design by Maxime. The bezel is also polished 18K King Gold with hexagonal décor designed by Mazime set with 48 diamonds totally 0.70ct with 6 H-shaped Titanium screws. The crystal is Sapphire with anti-reflective treatment and the dial is matte and satin-finished pink.
The Hublot Big Bang One Click Sang Bleu King Gold Pink Diamonds uses the HUB1710 Self-winding Movement with automatic winding that beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800 alternations/hour) and provides the watch with a 50-hour power reserve. It is water resistant to 100m or 10 ATM.
The strap that comes with the watch is made from shiny pink calf leather with black rubber and being a One Click Hublot style watch you can easily change the strap to match your outfit or even your car. The second strap I chose to wear with the Sang Bleu was a purple alligator strap with blue rubber (AUD 955). The strap is closed with a 18K King Gold and black-plated stainless steel deployment buckle clasp that is released by simply pressing the sides of the clasp together.
The King Gold construction made this watch feel much heavier and more substantial than the stainless steel Hublot watch I wore the previous week and I liked how it felt on my wrist. The intricate and unique design is beautiful and it’s actually quite easy to tell the time once you know which is the hour and minute hand. The Sang Bleu series does not have a date function.
The suggested retail price for Hublot Big Bang One Click Sang Bleu King Gold Pink Diamonds 39mm is AUD 41,000. For more information get in touch with your nearest Hublot boutique.
