Well Australians will soon be able to take the all-new Ford Puma for a ‘Desk Drive’ from the comfort and convenience of their own home as part of a number of initiatives to make shopping for a new vehicle simpler, easier and more transparent.
The award-winning all-new Ford Puma arrives in showrooms later this month, with the Desk Drive initiative coupled with introductory programs including drive-away pricing and incentives for in-person test drives at Ford dealerships across the country. The offers are designed to make buying simpler, easier and as straightforward as possible.

The ‘Desk Drives’ virtual test drive program will see Ford and its dealerships host Facebook Live events via the Ford Australia Facebook page, enabling Australians to easily access the all-new Ford Puma from the comfort of their own home, or from anywhere they choose.
The Ford Puma is a new-generation compact SUV sourced from Europe, crowned What Car? Car of the Year 2020 after a rigorous testing process. The Puma was praised for being, “fun to drive, cleverly packaged and well-priced”, with low running costs also a factor that contributed to the judges’ decision to award Puma 2020 COTY.
In getting to know the new Ford Puma, participants will be able to experience a ‘walkaround’ to discover Puma’s distinctive design and practicality, which includes features such as wireless smartphone charging, SYNC 3 with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility and FordPass Connect embedded modem. The first Puma ‘Desk Drive’ is scheduled for late September 2020 with full details and additional dates at Ford Australia’s Facebook page.
In addition, to celebrate the arrival of the all-new Ford Puma in Australia, Ford dealerships across the country are also offering customers compelling drive-away pricing from launch. The national pricing provides clear, transparent costs for customers, enabling a simple and easy way for them evaluate Puma ahead of purchase.
Introductory all-new Ford Puma pricing for Australia will be:
- Puma FWD $31,990 drive-away
- Puma ST-Line $33,990 drive-away
- ST-Line V $36,990 drive-away
Customers across Australia will be able to take advantage of even greater affordability with bonus value for the months of September and October 2020. Customers who test-drive Puma in person during this time and go on to purchase the all-new Puma will receive a bonus of $500, which increases to a $1,000 loyalty bonus for existing Ford owners.
Puma owners will also enjoy the peace-of-mind of a five-year, unlimited kilometre full factory warranty and Ford Service Benefits, which include a complimentary Service Loan Car, Auto Club Membership including Roadside Assistance, as well as SYNC 3 sat-nav map updates.
The all-new Puma will be joined in showrooms by the all-new Ford Escape in 2020, offering Australian customers the latest generation design, technology and capability at varying price points and vehicle sizes, reflecting the diversity of customer lifestyles in Australia.
