Bugatti has been part of the Volkswagen Group since 1998 and employs more than 300 people. The majority of these work in Molsheim in Alsace. With 37 dealers and service partners in 18 countries in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, Bugatti is a global player.

Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. manufactures the world’s most powerful, fastest, most exclusive and luxurious production hyper sports car. Since its foundation in 1909, the French luxury brand has been based on and off in Molsheim, Alsace. The Veyron was made there between 2005 and 2015, the first modern-day hyper sports car, of which 450 vehicles were built by hand. Since autumn 2016, the staff in Molsheim have been producing the Chiron models.

Stephan Winkelmann, President of Bugatti, welcomes the new staff member: “With Anja Utermark, Bugatti gains a highly qualified and car-savvy HR manager. She will actively support Bugatti and help to prepare the company for the future.”

Anja Utermark will become HR manager at Bugatti on 1 August 2019. “I am very much looking forward to the new task in Molsheim and to working for this traditional and exclusive brand with its extraordinary hyper sports cars,” says Utermark.

The business economist knows her way around the automotive industry. Before moving to France, she held various positions in human resources, most recently in personnel planning and controlling for the Volkswagen Group and as personnel manager at Volkswagen Motorsport, where she discovered her passion for high-performance vehicles.

At a time of great change across the entire industry, Bugatti wants to prepare its employees well for the future and strengthen their ties to the company.

“At Bugatti, the employees have always been the focus of the company. In the future, we want to improve on this and, together with them, successfully move into an exciting future with highly innovative projects,” says Stephan Winkelmann.
