Since the announcement of the women’s only single-seater racing series a little over a month ago, the W Series has sparked conversation and debate on a global level.
With 2018 coming to a close, preparations for the first-ever W Series race season are well underway. Cars are being built, tracks being prepared and discussions with the DTM series are in full swing.
The process to find the highly-anticipated 2019 driver line-up has begun, with over 100 applications from drivers received so far.
Further announcements of the 2019 qualifying line-up will be made soon, with successful applicants taken on a thorough training programme centring on driving techniques, technical engineering approaches, fitness, media skills and more.
The W Series will support all DTM rounds (German Touring Cars) from Hockenheim until our season finale at Brands Hatch in August. Here’s the provisional calendar:
