Caitlin Wood will be making a comeback in the European Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series this weekend at the one and only Nurburgring. Caitlin will partner alongside Danish driver Jacob Mathiassen in the PRO-AM category of the series with M-Tech Racing.
Just under three months ago, Caitlin sustained a snapped fibula which has unfortunately kept her out of the driving seat for the past 2 rounds of the series. With intense physiotherapy and rehab, she has made a successful recovery and is ready to push on for the last half of the season.
“I am so excited to be making my debut at Nurburgring this weekend, especially with it being in the Lamborghini Hurucan Evo! It has been a tough few months on the sidelines and I am so motivated to come back and get on the podium. I am really looking forward to working alongside Jacob for the weekend, he is a talented driver and I am confident we will be able to come away from Nurburgring with some great results!” said Caitlin.
